{"id":220,"date":"2023-09-03T23:30:20","date_gmt":"2023-09-03T23:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes.toastr.com\/?page_id=220"},"modified":"2023-09-04T15:42:34","modified_gmt":"2023-09-04T15:42:34","slug":"sauces","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/recipes.toastr.com\/index.php\/sauces\/","title":{"rendered":"Sauces"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fagan Salad Dressing or Vegetable Marinade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 1\/2 cups of Wesson oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/2 Cup of White Wine Vingegar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Garlic Salt to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2-3 tablespoons of sugar (or sweet &amp; low)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salt &amp; Pepper to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 teaspoon dry basil or 10 fresh basil leaves chopped fine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Otha&#8217;s Salad Dressing &#8211; 1963<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 cup of Wesson oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/2 cup of vinegar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/2 cup of katsup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/4 cup of sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salt &amp; pepper to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celery salt to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shake all together, keep in the fridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thai Peanut Dipping Sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/3 cup of smooth peanut butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warm water (half a dozen tablespoons)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soy Sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sriracha chili sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put the peanut butter into the dish you want to serve it in. Thin it out with warm water. Add a tablespoon of soy sauce, and 2-5 tablespoons of Sriracha chili sauce (depending on how hot you want it)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat it up in the microwave, thinning with more water as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parrot Leg Dipping Sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/3 cup of brown sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/3 cup of soy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coarsely chopped fresh ginger and garlic (large, to be removed)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 teaspoon of white or rice vinegar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cook until sugar is dissolved, thicken with sugar, thin with soy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remove the chunks of garlic &amp; ginger before serving<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dumpling Dipping Sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/3 cup of soy sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">pinch of sugar or dash of oyster sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">fresh or roasted garlic (minced)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">smashed clove of garlic &amp; smashed piece of fresh ginger<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat ingredients for a few minutes.
